In addition to his role as Chairman of the nDigital Group, Fuad is CEO and the majority shareholder of NEC Money Exchange, a money exchange and remittance company with 21 retail locations across Bahrain, and a growing digital presence including the Bahrain franchise for Western Union digital channels. Historically, Fuad spent time in executive positions in a number of Nonoo family office enterprises including BFC (Bahrain Financing Company) that was later sold to private equity; and was a partner in Nonoo Jewellery, a UAE-based gold bullion dealer that was sold to Standard Bank.
Michael is a corporate lawyer with more than 20 years of experience directing clients on corporate, acquisition, divestment, strategy and investment matters with a focus on Fintech, Biotech, digital investments and investment funds. He joined the group in 2018, serves as a Board member of nDigital Holdings and its subsidiaries, and is Chairman of the audit, risk & compliance, and corporate governance committees. Earlier, he was a Partner at a boutique corporate law firm in Kuwait; Head of the Bahrain office of DLA Piper; and an Associate in Investment Funds, Corporate and Securities groups at Sidley Austin LLP and Certilman Balin LLP, both in New York.
Akram is an investor, entrepreneur and senior executive with extensive experience in value creation and leadership in multi-billion dollar revenue companies. Prior to forming Cayan Partners, an investment advisory and private equity practice, Akram was the Middle East and Africa Regional General Manager for GE Energy and President of GE Corporate in GCC. While at GE, Akram lead a team comprising over 1200 professionals generating USD5bn in revenues. Akram holds or has held board and advisory positions in numerous high-profile companies and PPP projects in the GCC and has an extensive network of connections and partners throughout the Middle East and Africa region.
Samer is a member of the nDigital advisory panel and the Chief Investment Officer of Bahamdan Group. An institutional investment professional with over two decades globally focused on private equity; Samer started his career at Citigroup in New York where he spent 14 years in banking, private equity and credit investing, culminating in a position as a vice president of the Chief Investment Office at Citi Alternative Investments (USD60bn+). He moved to the GCC as a Managing Director at Shuaa Capital where he institutionalised a key asset management affiliate and created a corporate credit platform. Prior to joining Bahamdan Group, Samer was Head of Infrastructure Investments at Al Muhaidib Group where he oversaw a multi-billion-dollar portfolio and served as a member of Vision Invest’s Executive & Investment Committee and its Audit & Risk Committee along with numerous other board appointments. Samer has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in engineering from Cornell University. He has been awarded a Diploma in Board Directorship from the GCC Board Directors Institute.
Khalid is a FinTech entrepreneur and advisor. He is a Board Member of CoinMENA, a fully regulated crypto assets exchange and a Board Member of Oqal – Bahrain Chapter, which is the largest and most active angel investing network in the GCC. He is an Advisor to 01 Systems, which is one of the leading financial technology companies in the MENA region. Additionally, he is a Member of the Finance, Insurance & Tax Committee of the Bahrain Chamber. He was previously the Founding CEO of Bahrain FinTech Bay, which is the largest FinTech platform in the MENA region bringing together around 100 different stakeholders from the public and private sector. Prior to that, he was at the Bahrain Economic Development Board focusing on promoting and attracting new investments into Bahrain's financial services sector. He also worked in Ernst & Young’s advisory practice and in SEI in London, within the investment management unit. Khalid has attained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Exeter (First Class Honours) and Master’s Degree from Imperial College London, both in the United Kingdom
